– At the present, partner of JWORK – Japanese company 100% invested from Japan specializing in manufacturing medical equipment such as medical electronic devices, blood bags, digital thermometers, blood glucose checking devices…; looking for SENIOR ACCOUNTANT
Job description:
– Being responsible for Cost accounting practice in TBV and supporting MGR for achievement of company goals.
– Responsible for costing functions and variance analysis.
– Create and review the controls needed for data accumulation and reporting system.
– Assist Department head in preparing annual budget, 5 years’ plan and quarter re-forecast.
1. Cost analysis: weight 40%
– Performing monthly cost accounting close.
– Validate the cost of goods sold as part of the month-end close
– Preparation of analyses (PPV, MUV, Revaluation, labor usage, Absorption variance analyses, std gross margin, scraps) and reports to Department head.
– Work closely with production on labor productivity and efficiency rate rationalization
– Conducts the quarterly Excess & Obsolescence inventory process.
– Participate in production meeting and provide cost related advices.
– Develop Business Unit standard costing and purchase price methodology.
– Procedures of packaging by purchase order and update standard costing methodology.
– Procedures based on changes of sales volume, products prices and operation costs.
2.  Inventory tracking: weight 30%
– Coordination of the yearly and monthly physical inventory count and reconcile of inventories discrepancies.
– Investigate cycle counting variances and resolve issues
– Maintenance and updating of standard costs for products.
– Review standard and actual costs for inaccuracies
– Accumulate and apply overhead costs as required by generally accepted accounting principles
– Work with the materials review board to locate and dispose of obsolete inventory
3. Finance: weight 20%
– Clarify day-to-day transactions to post to the Accounting System.
– Monitor all GL transaction to classify and analysis all of cost expenses to reflect profit and loss statement on operation.
– Assist Department head in preparing monthly closing, forecast, budget, 5-year plan, and other internal and external reports
– Ensures that the accounting activities are in compliance with the corporate, and other regulatory guidelines.
– Ensure that our accounting activities are following VAS.
4. Employee relations: Weight 10%

– Academic background: University graduate at least
– Language: Communication ability in English
– Experiences: Cost accounting experience: 3 year or more in manufacturing environment.
– Skills:
+ Excellent in analysis skills, and the ability to collaborate with a multi-department team
+ Good in interpersonal skills
– Other requirements:
+ Prefer experience in a global company.
+ Knowledge of Vietnamese accounting system, or will be learned on training.
+ Knowledge/experience of ERP system, SAP system is preferred
+ Team work, and can be work under high pressure.
+ Ability to handle stress, proactive thinking, good initiative, and readiness for changes are essential demands at work.

Salary: 17.000.000 VND
