shall plan, organize, supervise and evaluate all operations of Maintenance Department; develop and implement schedules of preventative maintenance program; oversee the maintenance and repair of machinery, equipment and electrical and mechanical system; plan and direct administrative services such as janitorial, landscaping, security, outside maintenance services and safety inspections.
Job Functions
1) The Maintenance Manager directs maintenance activities. The major areas directed are:
– Preparation of preventative maintenance schedule
– Following up on preventive maintenance schedule
– Attending break down maintenance
– Administration of maintenance department manpower
– Controlling of machinery, equipment inspection records
– Raising spare parts requirements.
– Checking inspection of spares
– Issuing spares for replacements
– Maintaining history card on equipments.
– Report on breakdown hours and running hours
– Report on utility consumption and process parameters.
– Utility operation and maintenance.
– Water/ electricity management and better utilization.
– Safety compliances and supervising maintenance staff in following safety procedures
– Training maintenance staffs
2) The Maintenance Manager directs janitorial service. The major areas directed are:
– Strictly following the contracted cleaners’ daily performance & duties
– Maintaining good hygiene both in & outside the Company at all times
– Making sure that the landscape is always well cared and maintained
3) The Maintenance Manager directs security service. The major areas directed are:
– Strictly following the contracted security guards’ daily performance & duties
– Assisting HRD in making the fire fighting plan, following up the fire fighting and prevention training courses for employees, checking the fire extinguishers monthly, making fire prevention and emergency preparedness program.
Requirements
– 5-7 year experience in maintenance management;
– University degree in Technical; Polytechnic or a related field;
– Experience as Maintenance Manager for a foreign owned manufacturing company;
– Good negotiation skill, strong problem solving and decision-making;
– Excellent analytical and reporting skills;
– Good organization & management skill;
– Ability to work well across different functional team;
– Highly creative and adaptable in all situations;
– Have good presentation skill, training skill and communication skill;
– High level of oral & written communication (English & Vietnamese).
Other Skills/Abilities
– Computer literate;
– Have ability to coach, direct and motivate employees in the department;
– Have strong leadership to coordinate all the elements of production;
– Have strong sense of initiation, innovation, analysis, urgency and pressure tolerance;
– Have ability to work independently and in a team environment and ability to manage and prioritize a challenging workload.
Organization Relationship
The Maintenance Manager reports directly to the Manufacturing Manager
– Working (From Monday to Friday per week)
– 13thmonth salary
-2 month probation (Social Ins. Paid on probation time also).
– Transportation from HCMC to Company
